Honey I can feel you’re burning
On my part there’s only hurting
By my side does not come with ease
But your tempest heart gets me on my knees
Horror as I’m just now learning
The sour truth inside you churning
Sick and tired of being sick and tired
It was just a mirage that I admired
I don’t know how you do it
But you do it for me
It seems there’s nothing to it
Nothing that you can’t be
And every time you’re being it
It’s effortlessly
I don’t know how you do it
But you do it to me
And I like the way that this is going
Eyeballing all the knowledge that you are showing
I don’t know how you do it
But you do it for me
It seems there’s nothing to it
Nothing that you can’t be
And every time you’re being it
It’s effortlessly
I don’t know you do it
But you do it to me
And I like the way that this is going
Absorbing all the knowledge that you’ve got to show me
Poor in material
Rich in ethereal

Some words from Stanley Belton of Black Market Karma
“I’ve loved Pete’s music since I was a teenager so to hear that he dug this song ‘The Sour Truth’ and then to have him feature on it has been magic. He added a pair of sugary sweet synth melodies, percussion and some lush production elements. He also mixed it.
It needed a B-Side and I’d had this new song floating around in my skull for a while called ‘Wisdom Shifter’ that I felt complimented it perfectly, so I recorded it and here we are”

Another great release (and the only one I have a vinyl copy as well). It was great to see you guys live in Vienna this summer. Papa Jay (Radio Smorgasbord)

Wow, I'm blown away. This is one of Spiritualized's best albums in my opinion and I didn't expect that. Pierce deserves all the praise he gets, he truly is a modern rock n roll legend. I haven't been keeping up with them in recent years but clearly should have. ZWT100

The word that best describes this album is 'transcendent' or something like that. I can't quite put my finger on what feeling it inspires, but it's certainly one that is unique and quite pleasant. wik_wav

This sound is Brit-pop v2. A much improved soundscape. Tones of goth / shoegaze / grunge / altrock / electronic / psychedelia threaded beautifully together. This 70's child is so happy I survived to hear their music. Long live Dead Rabbits! juslo
